Molly’s Orchid Mix is a soil-free potting mix specially formulated to provide orchid roots with excellent airflow, fast drainage and balanced moisture retention. 🌸
Its coarse structure, made primarily from bark and mineral components, allows water to move through the pot quickly while helping prevent the mix from becoming dense or compacted around the roots.
It is particularly well suited for epiphytic orchids, including Phalaenopsis, Cattleya, Dendrobium and Oncidium.
Ingredients:
Pinus radiata bark, pumice, red lava rock, black lava rock, Hyuga, coco chips, Akadama, biochar and mycorrhizae carrier.

One 5 dry quart / 5.5 L bag can fill approximately 4 to 6 6-inch pots, depending on root system size and the amount of mix used.
Good to know
This mix is primarily designed for epiphytic orchids. Some terrestrial orchids may prefer a finer or slightly more moisture-retentive substrate.
